If you answered "yes" to one, two, or all of the above--have we got an opportunity for you!
We will be working with pencil and/or pen to achieve a 3 dimensional effect on a 2 dimensional surface. Value, perspective and composition will be explored. Beginners are welcome. Those with drawing experience will be encouraged to try colored pencils and other drawing materials.
Bring a sketchbook and photo references if you have them, otherwise library will provide.
For ages 15+
The class will be led by Lois Hrejsa, graduate of the American Academy of Art where she taught Fundamentals of Art and watercolor for 18 years. She currently teaches Drawing & Watercolor classes and conducts Plein Air classes at the Log Cabin Center for the Arts in Palos Park.
